      An ethical code and deontology for Richmond's elected was adopted in 2011 in accordance with the Law on ethics and deontology within Municipalities.<\/p>\n

      The main values stated in the deontology and ethical code is:<\/p>\n

      1\u00b0 Integrity;<\/p>\n

      2\u00b0 Honor while fulfilling duties;<\/p>\n

      3\u00b0 Caution in pursuit of public interest;<\/p>\n

      4\u00b0 Respect towards other council members, employees and citizens;<\/p>\n

      5\u00b0 Loyalty to the Municipality;<\/p>\n

      6\u00b0 Equity.<\/p>\n

      \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Objective<\/h3>\n

      The rules foreseen in the present deontology and ethical code are to prevent:<\/p>\n

      1\u00b0 all situations where the council member's personal interest could influence their judgement while fulfilling their duties;<\/p>\n

      2\u00b0 all situations that go against articles 304 and 361 of Municipal Election and Referendum Laws;<\/p>\n

      3\u00b0 favoritism, fraudulent use of corporate property, breach of trust or other improper conduct.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
